CONSTRUCTION
Scarf and hat are knit in garter stitch with slipped stitches. Hat is worked crown to brim, the scarf is worked lengthwise with a stretchy selvedge. Pattern is both charted and written.

Scarf Finished Length:Â 7.8 in /Â 19.5 cm width and 5.5 ft /Â 1.6 m length.

EZ sewn bind off:
Cut yarn, leaving a long tail. Attach to tapestry needle.
Step 1:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Insert needle purl-wise into next two sts.
Step 2:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Insert needle knit-wise into the first st and slip off.
Repeat steps until one st remains. Insert needle purlwise into last st and slip off.
SCARF PATTERN DIRECTIONS
Cast on 46 sts using the German twisted cast on method.
