HOW DO I JOIN A TEST?
My pattern tests are open to everyone. However, those subscribed to my mailing list get to receive invitations first! If you would like to be the first to receive test invites, please subscribe to my monthly newsletter.
WHERE ARE TESTS HELD?
I have a Ravelry group where testers can ask questions, make suggestions, and share photos.
WHAT ARE REQUIRED OF TESTERS?
- Provide feedback for pattern including clarity of instructions.
- Create a Ravelry project page, linked to the pattern.
- Check in with weekly progress and finished item.
- Provide a quality photo of the finished item.
- Complete the feedback survey at the end of the test.
WHAT TO TESTERS GET IN RETURN?
I compensate all my testers with the final version of the pattern they tested, as well a second pattern of their choice. These two things are only given to testers who are active in the test and finish their items by the deadline. If testers are not communicating or do not finish a test, they may not be given the opportunity to join future calls.
WHAT HAPPENS IF A TESTER DOESN'T FINISH?
Life happens, people get sick, accidents occur, we are human. As long as you update me with your situation and reason for not being able to finish, you'll of course be allow the opportunity to join future test calls.
You will not be accepted in future tests if you:
- ghost me by not giving updates or ever checking in with me
- consistently do not finish tests on time
